Where is Lit Lounge: The People’s ART Hosted?

At The Station - Columbia City (3000 S. Alaska St. Seattle, WA 98108). Support The Station by visiting during their normal business hours (M-F 7am-5pm; Sat and Sun 8am-3pm). It’s a great community space to work, connect, or even schedule your next coworking party!

Is The Station Wheelchair Accessible?

Yes! There is a wheelchair accessible door on MLK Blvd entrance. Both bathrooms are wheelchair accessible.

Will there be ASL interpreters?

ASL interpreters are already confirmed for January 24, February 28 and March 21. You do not need to request interpreters.

Where can i buy books by the readers?

We are so lucky to have mam’s books as the Lit Lounge community partner - the only Asian American independent bookstore in the Pacific Northwest! Visit mam’s online bookshop for ALL Lit Lounge books.

Will there be food?

Yes! Complementary small bites are available at every event (meat and veggie options).

Are there non-alcoholic drinks available?

The Station’s espresso bar is open for coffee and specialty drinks. There are also teas, sodas, Jarittos, and sparkling water available for purchase.

How Often Is Lit Lounge scheduled?

Lit Lounge: The People’s Art is scheduled (more or less) every fourth Friday of Seattle’s fall/winter months. When it’s dark and rainy outside and you don’t want to leave the house, Lit Lounge will be a cozy and welcoming third space to connect!! Season 1 is scheduled for January 24, February 28 and March 21 (3rd Friday). We are looking for funding to bring back Lit Lounge for Season 2 > September-November 2025.
